The Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation (OSSTF) has announced that it would begin a legal job action across Ontario on Tuesday, November 26th in support of its collective bargaining position.
Schools will remain open, with health and safety of students being the priority.
OSSTF members have served notice that they will not perform a number of administrative duties, but their actions will not impact students or their families.
Members will be periodically establishing information pickets at schools or Board facilities before and after school and during lunch hours. OSSTF has indicated that "picket lines will not significantly inhibit the passage of people and vehicles onto school board properties".
We remain committed to providing our families with the latest information in a timely manner.
