A Run for "IT"
- Riverside SS annual Halloween Fun Run -
All manner of beasts and beings will be invading the streets and sidewalks in the neighbourhood around Riverside Secondary School on Friday, October 27th.
However, residents have more reason to cheer than to fear. The school's annual Halloween Fun Run has raised thousands of dollars for charities in the past 16 years and this year students are scaring up donations for the Kidney Foundation.
The costume contest begins at 8:50 a.m. and the frighteningly creative parade of walkers, runners and skaters will hit the roads at approximately 9:35 a.m.
This year's theme is A Run for "IT" so no one should be surprised to see a fair share of clowns on the streets Friday morning.
