Measure twice….cut once. Vital advice in the construction trades which requires a solid foundation of mathematical knowledge.
On Tuesday, November 20th 50 Specialist High Skills Major students from GECDSB secondary schools along with Construction and Math teachers will be participating in hands-on activities with members of Carpenters' Local 494, learning math "tricks of the trade" and discovering how math is being applied in the industry.
This workshop will be held at the union office 2179 Fasan Drive in Oldcastle from 9:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
