Brock Mealer to Visit West Gate PS
- the personification of perseverance -
Brock Mealer, who is a highly sought-after speaker with an inspirational message of overcoming adversity to reach personal goals, will talk to students and staff at West Gate Public School on Thursday, December 6th at 9:00 a.m.
Mealer was seriously injured in a car accident and given a 1% chance of ever walking again, but he defied those odds and has told his story to thousands across North America, including a prime time television audience and the delegates at the U.S. Republican National Convention in 2016. His visit to West Gate is the result of a simple social media post by a teacher who wanted to share, with Brock, the school's focus this year on the character trait of perseverance.
