​Massey Students Earns Schulich Scholarship

- Shahed Saleh to attend Waterloo -

 

Shahed Saleh, a Grade 12 student at Vincent Massey Secondary School has received a $100 thousand Schulich Leader Scholarship to study Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo. She's the first Massey student to earn this prestigious award.

Ms. Saleh has been captain of the school's FIRST Robotics team, a mentor for FIRST Lego League elementary school teams and a co-founder of the STEM Day and CodeReach events at her school.

Schulich Leader Scholarships are awarded to 50 high school graduates enrolling in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics undergraduate program at 20 partner universities in Canada.
