William Davis’ Students Are Off To Camp!
Grade 6 students attend Tim Horton Program at Onondaga Farm
William Davis Public School’s grade 6 class was excited to receive  news that they are invited to the Tim Horton’s Program at Onondaga Farm for a three day learning and community building experience in November.
“I felt happy because I’ve actually read stories about people going to the camp and having fun. I’ve always wanted to participate in a ropes course. It looks exciting.” said grade 6 student Enkela.
Ethan, a grade 6 student eager to share his thoughts, said “I’m excited because I’ve never experienced a three day field trip before. At first I didn’t think it was true. It seemed crazy that we would be sleeping out for two nights during the school week in St. George, Ontario. I get to go with my friends, do activities together and get to know each other better.”

Onondaga Farm is a camp that allows students to participate in a variety of activities such as: ropes, tile making, environmental education, astronomy, mask making, and many sports. The purpose of the camp is to allow children to be exposed to a new growth opportunities and challenges with the intention that each student leaves as a more caring, responsible and motivated person.
The Tim Horton's Children's Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides fun-filled opportunities in interesting environments for children who usually wouldn't get them.
