They brought in an average of 1,415 grams per student in the annual, 6 school competition to collect breakfast cereal, which is then distributed to school breakfast programs and service organizations in Windsor.
In all, Talbot Trail, Bellewood, Southwood, Glenwood, Central and McWilliam public schools brought in more than 3 million grams of cereal, which was enough to fill 410 large paper lawn bags. The most generous class - 3N from Central - collected 4,167 grams per student - the average box of cereal weighs about 450 grams.
