The Greater Essex County District School Board has prepared a brief survey to gauge the interest in adding the International Baccalaureate Programme to its program offerings.
"We are continuously exploring additional opportunities to enhance student learning," says GECDSB Director of Education Erin Kelly.
The I.B. Programme is internationally recognized. It provides, "unique academic rigour"...that can "lead (students) to some of the highest ranking universities around the world." (Source - ibo.org)
Parents are being asked to respond to the questions at this link: 2015 IB Survey. The survey will be available until March 2nd. The Board will review the input and make a decision whether to carry on to the next step in the process that could potentially bring the International Baccalaureate Programme to the GECDSB.
