The GECDSB is putting information on cannabis in places where high school students can't miss it. Frames are being mounted on walls above urinals and on the back of bathroom stall doors which will hold a series of posters about the legal and health-related issues of using the recently legalized recreational drug. The messages have been created in cooperation with the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit.
Kennedy Collegiate Institute is the first school to have the frames in place and all 15 GECDSB secondary schools will have them by the end of January.
The first edition for students to read is facts about driving while under the influence of cannabis.
