The Gore Hill Public School community added new layers to its growing culture of parent engagement during a Lego-themed activity night at the school. There were more than 80 guests who came out to create structures and scenes with a variety of popular characters such as: Minions; Mickey Mouse and Spiderman.
The event allowed parents and guardians to join their children in building skills in and knowledge of mathematics, problem solving, patterning, proportional reasoning and symmetry. It was also an enjoyable social occasion for the whole school community.
