For Students

Will students be provided with learning resources during the Ontario school closure?

GECDSB Teacher Consultants have gathered a list of home study and educational resources for students in all grade levels. They are posted @https://www.publicboard.ca/News/HomeStudyandStudentCurriculumResources/Pages/default.aspx#/=

We will also be using our social media platforms (Facebook) & (Twitter) to regularly share resources and ideas to help students and their families maintain studies during this hiatus from the classroom.

The Ontario Ministry of Education has prepared supplementary resources for elementary and secondary students to practice math and literacy skills to help mitigate learning loss during the ordered school closures. Use this link: Learn at Home

While these materials do not replace what students have been learning at school, during this unusual time, these at-home activities offer quick and easy access to some of Ontario’s best online kindergarten to grade 12 learning resources.
