The Ministry of Education has directed all school boards to implement a process to confirm that board employees and secondary students have completed the self-assessment prior to or upon arrival of the school/workplace. This measure is an enhancement of our safety protocols.
In response, this tool is for exclusive use of all board employees and secondary/adult students at the Greater Essex County District School Board. It is fully developed and supported by the GECDSB Informational Technology Service department. The tool content is based on the Ontario COVID-19 School Screening document. The only data stored and accessible to the administrator/supervisor is either "Go to School" or "Do not go to School"; the individual question results are not stored.
