Kingsvile K-12 School

In November, 2012, following a Program and Accommodation Review Committee report, the GECDSB Board of Trustees approved a motion for the construction of a new Kindergarten - Grade 12 school in Kingsville to combine Kingsville District High School, Kingsville Public School and Jack Miner Public School. 

The Ontario Ministry of Education approved a business plan submitted by the Board and in April, 2016 an announcment was made by Minister of Education Liz Sandals to provide a grant of approximately $44 million for the project. ( Kingsville School Funding Announcement - April 25, 2016 )

The school will include space for 1798 students and an additional 6 childcare rooms. ( Childcare Provider Announced )​

A land purchase for the building is under negotiation.​
