Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members of Eastwood Public School, Parkview Public School, and Forest Glade Public School:
At the December 13, 2016, regular meeting of the Board, Trustees approved the following recommendation:
THAT THE BOARD APPROVE THE IMMEDIATE COMMENCEMENT OF A STANDARD PROGRAM ACCOMMODATION REVIEW THAT INCLUDES EASTWOOD PS, FOREST GLADE PS, AND PARKVIEW PS, AS SET OUT IN THE PROGRAM ACCOMMODATION REVIEW – INITIAL STAFF REPORT, DATED DECEMBER 13, 2016.
In order to fulfill the Board's obligation to keep communities informed, the Program and Accommodation Review Committee (PARC) will hold a Public Information Meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the gym at Eastwood Public School on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. The Committee will be introduced and we will outline the process currently underway. The intention of the first public meeting is to provide an overview of the PARC orientation session, to review the Initial Staff Report and School Information Profiles. We will continue to seek your input throughout the entire process with regard to recommended options in the Initial Staff Report. Input can be provided through the Staff, Committee, and Community representatives, email, and at subsequent public meetings.
The Committee is a group of dedicated individuals, working on your behalf, to find appropriate solutions for all of our students.
