Early On Child and Family Centres

EarlyOn CFC logo.pngThe Greater Essex County District School Board is proud to host 13 child and family programs in our schools to support you and your child in healthy, active learning and development. Parenting and Family Literacy Centres (PLFCs) and Ontario Early Years Centres (OEYCs) have been reorganized in Windsor and Essex County. The provincially-funded support programs that offer activities and resources for families and their children from birth to age 6 have been combined under the umbrella of EarlyON Child and Family Centres.

EarlyON Child and Family Centres provide opportunities for children from birth to 6 years of age to participate in play and inquiry-based programs, and support parents and caregivers in their roles. Our centres offer safe and welcoming environments open to all families across Windsor and Essex County, with qualified professionals and quality programs. Families and caregivers will be able to find support, advice, make personal connections and access a network of resources.

During this unprecedented time, the EarlyON Centres continue to look for a multitude of ways to connect with our families. Although we may not be able to gather together in the same physical space at this time, there are many ways that we plan to continue our learning.

One of the ways that we are planning to do so is to provide families with a calendar of activities. Below, is a Week-at-a-Glance which contains suggested activities that you can do together as a family to continue to explore and learn together.
