Steps required for application:

Complete and submit the online application – Application fee payment is required as part of the online application process.
 
Once the application is processed, if approved, GECDSB will issue the official Letter of Acceptance and the Letter of Accommodation. PDF copies of the documents will be emailed to the family’s primary email address or your service provider/agent (if applicable).
 
It is the student’s responsibility to apply for the Study Permit – Further information can be found at the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website, Canadian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate in your home country.
 
Submit tuition and medical insurance fees – Details will be included in the invoice sent to the primary email address.
 
Once the student's Study Permit is approved, email a copy to the International Students Admissions Office at international@publicboard.ca (It is the student’s responsibility to maintain a valid Study Permit for the duration of attendance at a GECDSB school.)
 
Upon acceptance, students must complete an online English language assessment. Following the assessment, students will be directed to their designated school to register.
