TVA and Leamington Students: Auto-mobility Opportunities
An amazing day at the WindsorEssex Economic Development Center. WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation's 2020 "Vehicle of the Future" Student Contest was released. Secondary students are able to impact the auto-mobility future; follow the link for more info: https://share.hsforms.com/1Li67WBCZRB.... ESTEAM students from Tecumseh Vista and Transportation SHSM students from Leamington District High School participated in this novel, hands on, student based discussion. Students were involved in five community partner led discussions ranging from discussing how the autonomous vehicle will look in the future and its impact to our community, the importance of digital twinning and simulation, introducing new opportunities, investigation into pathways relating to the development of the autonomous vehicle, and lastly a hands on-experience in the virtual reality cave! Thank you to our community partners: We-Tech Alliance, CAMM, Automate Canada, Workforce Windsor-Essex, Choose Windsor Essex. The GECDSB Student Success department values our community partners. Our students were able to have valuable input in how the Windsor-Essex County community may be shaped by supporting the research and development of the autonomous vehicle through discussion guided by leaders in our community. Thank you!
