Camp Nia
We are offering a camp for Black students from July 31 to Aug. 11, at Herman Academy - Secondary. The focus of this program is on increasing academic achievement in literacy and numeracy as well as teaching students about the past and present-day contributions of Black people. Summer Information
- The school is open to the public from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm please contact the school for pick up locations 519-252-6514.
- Days the school will be closed: July 3, 2023, July 21, 2023, Aug. 4, 2023, Aug. 7, 2023, Aug. 18, 2023
- Graduated students can pick up their diplomas the week of July 24-28, 2023 please call the school upon arrival for pick up locations
2023-2024 School Year Information
- Student timetables won’t be available to view in Edsby until September 4, 2023.
- New Students to Walkerville won’t have access to Edsby until September 4, 2023
- W.C.C.A students who are eligible for a bus pass will be able to pick up the contracts to have a parent/guardian sign the first week of school in the main office. After the contract is signed, the office will get the voucher from the Transportation dept. and it will be given to the student. Please make sure to have your own transportation for the first week of school

New Students Looking to Now Register
If you are looking to register with Walkerville in September and have not done so already:
- You need to fill out an online registration www.publicboard.ca
- Click on “Quick Links”, Click on “Parents & Families”, Click on “Registering for school” complete the form
- If Walkerville is not the school you are in district of you need to call Walkerville and let us know 519-252-6514.
- You need to have a transfer package from the current school you were attending, an up to date transcript with your final marks, and attendance record
- Call the school in August to make an appointment with Administration during that last two weeks of August. 519-252-6514 Ext 31400
