Adult Education 

Literacy and Basic Skills-Upgrade your skills in reading, writing, math and computers.  As well support for ILC Learners and GED preparation.

Jr. PLAR- Prior Learning Assessment Recognition-prepare to complete assessment​s to achieve grade 9 and 10 credits. Appointments can only be made AFTER meeting with a guidance counsellor.

​The Adult Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) program helps learners prepare to:

  • Complete secondary school
  • Go to college or university
  • Enter the workforce
  • Get an apprenticeship
  • Have greater personal independence
Those wishing to enroll in this program must be:
  • 19 years of age or older (certain exceptions apply)
  • Canadian citizenship, permanent residents, convention refugees or refugee claimants

  Class Times

Classes are offered on a full or part time schedule. The student timetable is based on site location, course/level availability and scheduling.

  • Mornings - 9:00 am to 11:30 am (5 days per week)(Windsor Only)
  • Afternoons - 12:15 pm to 2:45 pm (5 days per week)
  • Nights - 6:45 pm to 9:15 pm (2 nights per week)
