Massey had four students selected to participate in the Police Ethnic and Cultural Exchange (PEACE) program this year. Participants were chosen from a wide range of applicants from across Windsor and Essex County who have an interest in pursuing a career in law enforcement. Students completed an 8 week training program with members of the Windsor Police Services. The program was designed to provide students in Grade 11 and 12 an introduction to policing as a viable and rewarding career. Participants were exposed to many aspects of policing through guest speakers from forensics, the K-9 unit, marine unit and were expected to complete a physical fitness test. All four Massey students graduated the program in high regard from the Windsor Police and gained valuable insight into their futures in law enforcement.
