Also on Friday April 25th, Massey Physics students competed in the WindEng competition organized by the University of Guelph. They had the challenge of designing a wind mill, creating a video about the wind mill and presenting their design to the distinguished judges. The Massey team used balsa wood to build their blades, used approximately a 12.5 to 1 gear ratio to generate 198.68 mW of power and placed fifth overall. We would like to thank University of Windsor Engineering Department for sponsoring our team. Way to go future Engineers and Physicists of Massey!!!!!!!
