The Jellyfish Project
MBM.JPG

Midil Beach Markets presented to a group of 300-400 students at Massey on October 2, 2013.  The members of the band delivered an energetic rock show of professional quality to the crowd which was followed by a presentation on the importance of sustainable development in the oceans of the world.  Students were challenged to make small changes in their lives that could have a big impact on the health of the world’s oceans.  The band spoke about the subjects of conservation and sustainable development and the students were attentive to their message.  After the show, the members of the band made themselves available to students for questions, discussion or photos.  Overall, it was a positive learning experience with a great environmental message for our students.
