A picture is worth a thousand  words... and Mustang talent spoke for itself this past week from November 12th to November 16th, 2013.  Media arts and photo club students from Vincent Massey Secondary School showcased their photographs at the ArtsSpeak Gallery, 1942 Wyandotte St., with a special closing from 4:00 -7:00 pm on Saturday November 16th.  Viewers were treated to a relaxing and professional atmosphere complete with snacks, attentive pupils eager to speak of their work, and, of course, photos!  Themes ranged but all pieces impressed as being artistic, meaningful, and innovative.

A total of twenty-two photos were sold, proving that hard work and talent is valued within our community!  A special thank you goes to media arts teacher Mr. Litschko, for organizing the event and leading his students through inspiration to realization, as well as to all teachers and members of the community who attended to support our Mustang talent.  Appreciation also goes to Corina Braga and Noah Gecelovsky, for assistance in framing and hanging the work, along with Massey students Roya Rahnavardan and Hannah Kokut, for supervision in the gallery during the Walkerville Walkabout.

By receiving continued support from within the community for dedication to the arts, our students experience the value and gratification in pursuing their interests. From their commitment and enthusiasm to express to their vision to the world, we can see the world through their eyes.
