A picture is worth a thousand words... and Mustang talent spoke for itself this
past week from November 12th to November 16th, 2013. Media arts and photo club students from
Vincent Massey Secondary School showcased their photographs at the ArtsSpeak
Gallery, 1942 Wyandotte St., with a special closing from 4:00 -7:00 pm on
Saturday November 16th. Viewers
were treated to a relaxing and professional atmosphere complete with snacks,
attentive pupils eager to speak of their work, and, of course, photos! Themes ranged but all pieces impressed as
being artistic, meaningful, and innovative.
total of twenty-two photos were sold, proving that hard work and talent is
valued within our community! A special
thank you goes to media arts teacher Mr. Litschko, for organizing the event
and leading his students through inspiration to realization, as well as to all
teachers and members of the community who attended to support our Mustang talent. Appreciation also goes to Corina Braga and
Noah Gecelovsky, for assistance in framing and hanging the work, along with Massey
students Roya Rahnavardan and Hannah Kokut, for supervision in the gallery
during the Walkerville Walkabout.
