Massey students wowed the crowd this weekend with
their rendition of The Learned Ladies,
a classic comedy by Moliere.
Performances were held on Friday December 13th and Saturday
December 14th, from 7:00 to 9:30 pm, as well as a final presentation
held on Sunday December 15th, from 2:00 to 4:30.
Along
with working throughout the weekend during this busy time of year, students and
dramatic arts teacher, Mr. Marontate
prepared for the performance for nearly three months.... giving truth to the
phrase ‘practice makes perfect!’
Audiences
reaped the benefits of performers’ theatrical dedication and talent, as
students gave a riveting and inspired performance, and all left the auditorium
entertained, impressed, and full of smiles!
Congratulations once again to all of
our talented actors, set directors, and artists, who continue to entertain, awe
and inspire. Thank you and congratulations also goes out to Mr. Marontate, for
dedicating his time and expertise in helping Massey students discover their
dramatic talents and realize their theatrical aspirations.
