Congratulations also to Jacob Briand for placing fourth, as well as to Abhishek Saini, Sarah Long, Zein Youssef, and Mujo Leuzanovic for excellent effort.  The hard work for the team is not over… more practice is still under way as they prepare for OFSAA!

The Junior Boys’ Basketball team also displayed their hard work, talent, and dedication throughout the season, winning the SWOSSAA AAAA championship and making Massey proud!!!

After a slow first quarter, the Mustangs scored 16 points in the second quarter and 34 points in the second half, eventually dominating Sarnia St. Pat’s with a final score of 60-45.  Damir Ferhatovic once again showed his skills, making 7 three pointers, while Ali Sayed-Ali contributed 3 more three pointers as well.  More noteworthy play was also given by Arsh Sidhu, who shut down St. Pats’ seven foot center with his excellent defence!  Next up for the team… the Junior Basketball Championship in Unionville, Ontario, held on Thursday February 27th!

Congratulations once again to all of our talented and hardworking athletes and coaches!
