Massey
Boy’s Hockey
Massey Boy's Hockey sizzled on ice while taking on the
Holy Names Knights during the Consolation Championship Finals at the South
Windsor Arena. Our Mustangs, while
playing in front of a passionate crowd, gave their all and emerged
victoriously, winning 4-2 and capturing both the prestigious “Battle of the
Ditch” trophy, and the prominent Consolation Championship trophy. Matt “Goon” Charron, Bubba Wallace, and hard
hitting Adam Sghaier led the scoring attack, each with a goal and an
assist. Chris “Dishmaster” Dion added a
goal, and Michael Michie and Jake “Superstar” Cummings chipped in with
assists. Alex “Action” Acton played
fantastically in net, helping to secure the win. All members, in fact, competed tirelessly in
their quest to achieve an early season goal of capturing this
championship! Special thanks to coaches
St. Pierre, Cornies, and Charron, for their time and effort during the course
of the season. Well done season boys!!!
