Youthrive Market Day Award Winners

Four A.V. Graham grade 7 students,  Vanessa Hamoli, Sophia Carom, Ava Jovanovski and Malia Lubach of Saffron Scrubs, receiving award for Best Booth from Enactus representatives. 

Saffron Scrubs, the ECO Friendly business that four A.V. Graham students developed with the help of Youthrive mentors took the prize for Best Booth at the annual Market Day at the University of Windsor, April 3, 2019.  All grade 7 students at AVG plan, develop, create and market entrepreneurial ECO businesses as part of the Youthrive Program.

Youthrive is a 10-week mentorship program run by Enactus Windsor that focuses on three main pillars: financial literacy, environmental sustainability, and entrepreneurship. This program teaches  youth how to create their own micro-businesses. Youthrive teaches financial literacy in a practical manner, truly showing our youth the importance of budgeting, saving, and reinvesting profits.
