Hello Herman Academy - Elementary, Thank you for working with us to book your school bus safety presentations!On Dec 03, our scheduler booked the following school bus safety shows with Margot Heaton (VP), Raquel Cowan (P), who indicated that the entry bell rings at 9:15 AM and that students would be seated and ready for the first presentation at 9:30 AM. The complete schedule is below. Please ensure these times will work with your schedule, including time to assemble students for the presentation.
First Primary Session (JK to Grade 1): Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 9:30 AMSecond Primary Session (Grades 2 to 3): Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 10:15 AMFirst Junior/Intermediate Session (Grades 4 to 8): Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 11:40 AM
Thank you for booking! These exciting, dynamic programs are brought to you by your transportation consortium, school board and the Ministry of Education.🚍In-gym Program Notes:» Programs are held in your gymnasium» Two trainers will report to your Front Office 30-45 minutes prior to show start time» Trainers require 30 to 45 minutes to set up in your gym» Once set up, trainers will notify you that it is okay to begin bringing students to the gymnasium» Presentations are about 35 minutes in length from the time students are seated and ready» Schools should begin loading students into the gym at least 10 minutes prior to show-time so that the shows can start on time.» If possible, please assign a 'teacher in charge' for supervising all students.» Please do not exceed 250 students per show (unless pre-arranged with us).» Our trainers bring all AV equipment required (nothing is required from the school)» Primary program is for JK to grade 3 students and focuses on basic safety» Utilizes Buster the robotic school bus!» Students receive activity book» Junior/Intermediate program is for grade 4 to 8 students and focuses on basic safety and behaviour» Utilizes a game show format!» Student participants receive a gift.Safety note: If you have special needs students that might be mobile and difficult to supervise, please be cautioned that there are several props we bring that could cause injury should the student run towards them or fall onto them.Weather note: In cases where inclement weather causes bussing to be cancelled for your school, we will contact you to reschedule.

Please help us avoid late starts and truncated presentations by having students seated by the times above, and by having movement to the gym begin well before show time. If any of the above information needs correction, please contact us as soon as possible. Shows must start on time in order to be fit into the times allotted.
