RE: Return to In-School Learning and GECDSB On-Line Self-Screening Tool

Dear Students, Parents/Guardians:

The Minister of Education has announced that "in-school" learning will begin on Monday, February 8th. The GECDSB has also determined that there will be a change to our school timetable for the remainder of the year. Our new timetable is listed below:

Students will be "in-school" for their morning class (8:25 am to 10:55 am).
Students will be released to go home, have lunch and get ready for their afternoon class (10:55 to 11:55 am).
Students will be "on-line" for their afternoon class (11:55 am to 2:25 pm).

Prior to entering the school, or upon arrival, all students must complete the GECDSB COVID-19 on-line self-screening tool. Students can access the tool at https://public.publicboard.ca/COVIDScreening/m_index.php The tool resets at midnight so self-assessments are to be completed each morning. The results will be sent to a school/classroom database. Students are not to attend school if the tool indicates that they are not to go to school, and are to follow the next steps listed.
