The new school will accommodate 1,045 elementary students, 753 secondary students and 98 child care spaces. It will bring together students from Harrow District High School, Kingsville District High School, Jack Miner Public School and Kingsville Public School.
“Improving learning environments for our students is one of the best infrastructure investments we can make”,  said Minister Sandals. “Our government is proud to invest in capital projects that are bringing students and communities together, reducing the cost of under-used space and reinvesting savings back into the classroom.”
Work will begin immediately to acquire approximately 25 acres of land in the Kingsville area. Architectural design and tendering for a general contractor will follow with construction expected to take about 14 months. The new school is expected to be ready for September 2019.
