On Friday January 10th, 2014, students at Parkview School took advantage of the milder temperatures and the excessive accumulations of snow we received this past week.
Students from Early Years to Grade 8 gathered into their "House Teams" and went outside to build snow structures. Students worked cooperatively to devise a plan for their design and created some awesome structures, snowmen, and snow animals. Students used classroom baskets, recycling containers, and pylons to create various designs for their structures.
Upon returning to class, students enjoyed a warm cup of hot chocolate and expressed their appreciation for some fresh air and time to play in the snow.
