This year, we will focus our professional learning on refining our practices in Learning Goals, Co-Constructed Success Criteria, Descriptive Feedback and Effective Use of Technology.   Further, teachers will work with our Instructional Coach, Work Study Coach, as well as school administration, participating weekly in a professional learning community.  This provides the opportunity to work together, plan, and take action collectively, to improve student learning. We continue to focus on the use of effective, research based, instructional strategies matched to individual student needs, and stress an assessment for learning approach to clearly identify, share, and clarify learning goals, define success criteria, and provide descriptive feedback to students to assist them in meeting their learning goals.
