The legal, Work to Rule sanctions being imposed by the unions will also continue, along with these rotating, one day strikes.
All GECDSB elementary, secondary and continuing education schools will be closed to students on Friday, February 21st and student transportation will be cancelled.
Maryvale and Regional Children's Centre will remain open and transportation will continue on Friday, February 21st.
All schools are scheduled to reopen to students with student transportation on Monday, February 24, 2020.
All EarlyON Centres in schools will be closed Friday, February 21.
Talk2Me will not be held on Friday, February21, 2020.
If child care providers in schools wish to offer a full-day program on Friday, February 21st, they will inform families and the school principals. Please contact your child care provider for more information about hours and programming that may be offered on Friday, February 21st. There will be no board-provided transportation for any program that is open.

Curiosity Club will be cancelled Friday, February 21, 2020.
YMCA Kids Club will be cancelled Friday, February 21, 2020
This is a message from the Greater Essex County District School Board.
Elementary schools will be closed to students and student transportation will be cancelled on Thursday, February 6th and Friday, February 7th due to the strikes scheduled by the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario.
School and busing for elementary students will resume on Monday, February 10th.
However, if a collective agreement has not been reached, further walkouts by teachers are scheduled for next week.
