The first public performance of the 2016-17 school year for students of the Walkerville Centre for the Creative Arts will be The Comedy of Errors.

This play, written by William Shakespeare, is sometimes called "the perfect farce". It was one of the Bard's earliest works and one of his funniest. Director Jeff Marontate has added an additional twist to the plot of mistaken identities and erroneous assumptions; he has employed gender-blind casting, giving roles to students regardless of whether they were intended for male or female actors.

The play will run at Walkerville Collegiate Institute November 25th & 26th (7:00 p.m.), November 27th (2:00 p.m.), December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (7:00 p.m.). Tickets will be sold at the door, $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students.
