If you live outside of Westview boundaries, contact the school: 519-254-6451  ext. 30100.

All families living within our boundaries must complete online registration.  Click here: https://register.publicboard.ca/Registration/

If coming from a high school:

  • request a transfer package from your current school; transfer packages may take several days and will require signatures from both the Principal of your current school and your parent/guardian (if under 18)
  • complete online registration.  Click here: https://register.publicboard.ca/Registration/
  • a Westview secretary will call to book an appointment to finalize the registration and possibly meet with a Principal at Westview Freedom Academy.
    • You must bring to appointment:
      • $50 Activity Fee (cash only)
      •  the transfer package 
      •  2 documents showing proof of address with parent/guardian name listed (ie. property tax bill, utility bill, mortgage/rental agreement, cable bill, bank statement etc)
      • original Canadian citizenship/immigration documents

​If coming from an elementary school within the Greater Essex County District School Board (grade 8s):

  • ​contact your elementary secretary (after July 1st: contact Westview: 519-254-6451)

If coming from an elementary school outside the Greater Essex County District School Board (grade 8s):

  • complete online registration.  Click here: https://register.publicboard.ca/Registration/
  • a Westview secretary will call to book an appointment to finalize the registration.
  • You must bring to appointment:
    • $50 Activity Fee (cash only)
    •  2 documents showing proof of address with parent/guardian name listed (ie. property tax bill, utility bill, mortgage/rental agreement, cable bill, bank statement etc)
    • original citizenship/immigration documents
    • grade 8 report cards (not required but will assist with course selection process)
    • copy of IEP (if applicable)
