Whether due to illness, a medical appointment or other important events, there are times your child will need to be away from school. To ensure student safety as outlined in the Greater Essex County District School Board's Central Public School's Safe Arrivals Program, it's important that you notify us if your child will be late or absent.
Report an absence
If your child is going to be late or absent, please notify us through our online EDSBY system, or call us at Central Public School at
(519) 969-3530. The voicemail is available 24 hours a day.
COVID-19 self-assessment and testing
Take this self-assessment if you have any symptoms of illness or tested positive for COVID-19.
You can also take it on behalf of a student, child, or someone else.
You will get a recommendation on what to do next.
