What is Correspondence / Independent Study

Full credit correspondence courses are available for adult students to complete at home as they work toward their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Students wishing to enroll in this program must:

  • Have Canadian Citizenship or Landed Immigrant Status
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have been out of a secondary school for a minimum of 6 months.

A credit assessment consultation is required for all students wishing to enter the Adult Correspondence Independent Study Program. This consultation will determine appropriate course placement.

  • Available to adults (18 years of age and older) who have been out of school for at least 6 months.
  • Complete our online registration form.

  • Ontario Student Transcript and/or other academic documentation
