The Arts @ BRDHS

Grade 8 Night Flyer

Belle River High School has a lot to offer your child through the arts.

We offer drama, music, band, vocals, and visual arts from grade 9 through 12. For the student performer, we offer drama, music, vocal music, guitar, and band for credit.

We have an amazing studio that offers art students an opportunity to explore portraiture, graphic design and tablet drawing in an organized professional setting. By offering our media arts and photography in the same year our students create a well-rounded digital portfolio in our Mac lab. By grade 12 your child can combine traditional art making processes and new media experiences together to create an amazing portfolio of artworks. For the student performer, we offer drama, music, vocal music, guitar, and production in our new recording studio. Come see our new state of the art visual arts classrooms with a traditional printing press and ample room to spread out and paint.

Through our inspiring selection of arts programs, we also offer a successful Arts & Culture SHSM to prepare your child for a post-secondary career connecting them to any of the arts. To discuss our arts programs and the SHSM Program contact the Department Head, Tamara Cirino at 519-728-1212.
