 Grade 8 Night Flyer

S.T.E.P.S. stands for “Skills to Enhance Personal Success”. Our program consists of courses, supports, and experiences designed to meet the needs of students identified as having a Developmental Disability, Autism, or Multiple Exceptionality through the I.P.R.C. process (Identification, Placement and Review Committee).

Our program is designed to allow students the opportunity to proceed at a rate of learning that is appropriate to their ability, needs and interests. Students in the S.T.E.P.S. program are enrolled in specialized K-courses and work towards a “Certificate of Accomplishment” at the end of their secondary school career. Our program offers a rich and supportive learning environment that includes academics, life skills, integration into mainstream courses and work placements.
