WCI Science Department

Department Overview

Welcome to the captivating world of the Science Department at Walkerville Collegiate Institute, where curiosity meets discovery, and learning extends beyond the classroom.

In Grade 9, our Science Department offers both de-streamed and locally developed options, ensuring that students embark on a journey tailored to their individual learning styles. As students progress to Grade 10, they can choose from Academic, Applied, and Locally Developed Science courses, providing a diverse array of pathways for exploration. Grade 11 expands the horizon with a spectrum of options, including College and University-level courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science. This broadens the scope for students to delve deeper into their scientific interests. In Grade 12, our Science Department continues to inspire with College, University and Workplace courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Science.
