The following statement can be attributed to the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU):
“The holiday season is a time for gathering amongst family and friends, which heightens the risk for transmission of respiratory illness. Eight GECDSB schools will participate in the CTMA Career Ready Grant that will see new manufacturing technology equipment and tooling donated to schools across Windsor and Essex County.

The 20th annual Cereal Box Challenge has come to an exciting close with the Bellewood Bisons taking home the Cereal Box Challenge Trophy for the very first time! Bellewood, Talbot Trail, McWilliam, Glenwood, Southwood and Central Public Schools collected and donated a record breaking 3.16 MILLION grams of cereal! Riverside Welders Covered Head to Toe

Students in the skilled trades, welding program at Riverside Secondary School have been tempered by the generosity of the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) Welding Foundation.
The class is a recipient of an $11,000 Weldsafe Grant which covers each student from head to toe with new, high-end safety equipment. The CWB Foundation is a not-for-profit organization “working with partners to support and sustain the need for skilled welding professionals in the workforce”
