Register your child for school
Please complete our online registration form and then contact your school secretary to complete the process and book an appointment.

Kindergarten registration
If your child is entering Kindergarten, we offer additional registration supports and resources. Learn how to register for Kindergarten with the GECDSB.
What you need
Please have the following documentation and proof to register with the GECDSB:
- Child's birth certificate or other government document to show proof of age and legal name
- Proof of Canadian citizenship or legal status in Canada (if not a Canadian citizen)
- Record of child's immunization (measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus and polio)
- Proof of residence (such as a recent property tax bill, recent tax assessment, utility bill, etc.)
