What is Travel for Credit?
Designed to help students thrive in today’s classrooms and tomorrow’s globalized world, Travel for Credit is a partnership between Greater Essex County District School Board and EF Educational Tours Canada. As Canada’s most trusted provider of travel programs for credit, EF offers culturally immersive experiences that prioritize student safety and well-being.
How it works
Students earn one credit through in-person or virtual classroom learning and a week of exciting, experiential travel. As your school board's trusted partner in travel, EF safely guides students to must-see Canadian and international destinations to expand their course knowledge.

Grade 12 Exploring English in the UK

Discover English language and literature in its proverbial homeland, the United Kingdom. Students will connect to texts where they were inspired, written, and performed as they develop their skills in media studies, oral communication, reading, and writing.
Language Immersion through France

To learn French, it helps to fall in love with France. Our French language Immersion Tours make both happen by combining authentic cultural experiences with interactive lessons taught out on the road. Each day has a theme—like art, history or food—that connects the day’s lesson to hands-on activities and conversations with locals. Your fluency expands along with your confidence and passion for the language.
