Massey Muslim Student Association Raises Funds for Downtown Mission

Charity is one of the principles for Muslims during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. This year, at Vincent Massey Secondary School the Muslim Student Association got the entire school community involved in its efforts.

Greater Essex County District School Board Technology Enabled Learning and Teaching (TELT) team members David Gomes and Peter Phinney (pictured above with Superintendent Josh Canty, middle) have worked incredibly hard to ensure educators and students have had access to reliable remote learning and teaching platforms throughout the pandemic. Steven Langlois Awarded G. Robert McConnell Award

At a virtual Award Ceremony on April 22, 2022, GECDSB teacher Steven Langlois was awarded the prestigious G. Robert McConnell Award from the Ontario Modern Languages Teacher Association (Est. 1886). This award is in recognition of his many years of work to support the field of French as a Second Language through his creation of pedagogical resources as an author and composer.
