Four students and fIve staff members from the Greater Essex County District School Boards have received awards from the Council for Exceptional Children, Chapter 125. The GECDSB extends our congratulations to each recipient!

"The Council for Exceptional Children, Chapter 125, honours these graduating secondary students for their personal growth, overcoming obstacles, and demonstrating perseverance and strength, while actively participating in their school communities. We also honour the work and contributions of passionate educators in the area of special education. We recognize these educators for going above and beyond their job descriptions to positively impact the educational experiences of exceptional students. The Chapter Award honours an individual who has demonstrated professional excellence, knowledge, and contributions to the area of special education throughout their career. We would like to thank all who took the time to nominate staff and students this year."
